ASUS' Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand has introduced two new 4K UHD OLED gaming monitors: the PG27UCWM and PG32UCWM. These monitors combine Tandem OLED technology with an RGB stripe subpixel layout, aiming to deliver sharper text edges and more accurate color reproduction.

The new displays feature a TrueBlack Glossy coating designed to reduce screen glare, enhancing the viewing experience in environments with high ambient light. ROG states this improves visual clarity under such conditions.

Both the PG27UCWM and PG32UCWM support dual modes: UHD at 240Hz and Full HD at 480Hz. They are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified, cover 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut with a color difference (Delta E) of less than 2, and meet Dolby Vision requirements.

Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 FRL ports, one DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20, a USB-C port with 90W Power Delivery output, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The monitors employ a GaNFET power solution, which is reported to reduce waste heat by nearly 35%.
