ASUS ROG x Xbox Handheld PC 20th Anniversary Edition Launches in China

ASUS has launched the 20th Anniversary Edition of its ROG x Xbox handheld PC in China. The device will be available for purchase starting October 15, with the base model priced at 9999 yuan (approximately $1370 USD). A premium package, costing 18999 yuan (approximately $2590 USD), includes additional accessories such as AR glasses and protective gear.

The handheld features a special 20th-anniversary design with a semi-transparent chassis, black and gold accents, and a commemorative gold plaque. It boasts a 7.4-inch ROG Nebula OLED display with a 1920x1080 resolution and a 120Hz variable refresh rate. The screen can reach a peak brightness of 1400 nits and supports Dolby Vision and DisplayHDR True Black 1400 certifications.

The controls include TMR joysticks utilizing magnetic resistance for reduced dead zones and improved accuracy. A convertible D-pad can be switched between 4-way and 8-way modes to accommodate different game genres.

Under the hood, the device is powered by a custom AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor with integrated Radeon 890M graphics, supporting FSR and AFMF frame generation technologies. It also includes an XDNA 2 NPU for AI processing. The handheld is equipped with 24GB of RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. It has an 80Wh battery and integrates with the Xbox Game Bar for system management and monitoring.
