ATELIER de Hoteles opens Playa Mujeres resort complex in Mexico

ATELIER de Hoteles has officially opened the ATELIER · ESTUDIO Playa Mujeres hotel complex. The inauguration took place during the Cancun Travel Mart 2019, drawing attendees from international tourism sectors and local government officials.

The property operates under two distinct brands: ATELIER, designed for adults, and ESTUDIO, which caters to families. The complex features 593 suites, 26 dining outlets, and a 4,500-square-meter convention center. The design integrates contemporary Mexican art as a central theme across both hotel concepts.

Francisco Garcia Zalvidea, president of Grupo BD, stated that the project demonstrates a commitment to the development of the Quintana Roo region. CEO Oliver Reinhart noted that the resort aims to set high service standards for the region by combining modern technology with architectural concepts rooted in local culture.

Established in 2015, ATELIER de Hoteles currently operates several resort brands. The company plans to expand its presence to additional business and leisure destinations across Mexico in the coming years.
