Ather Energy Launches New Electric Scooter in India Starting at ₹99,999
Electric vehicle manufacturer Ather Energy has introduced its new Konarc electric scooter in India. Priced from ₹99,999, the scooter is aimed at the mass-market segment.

Electric vehicle maker Ather Energy launched its new Konarc electric scooter at its annual Community Day event. The scooter begins at ₹99,999 and is targeted at the mass-market segment in India.
The Konarc will be available with four claimed range options: 100 km, 120 km, 165 km, and 200 km. Ather Co-founder and CEO Tarun Mehta stated that the scooter's 14-inch front wheel and long-travel suspension are designed to offer improved stability and comfort for longer rides.
Ather also introduced its Advanced Electronic Braking System (AeBS) with the Konarc. The company claims this system provides 20% higher peak braking force, enhancing rider stability and control.
The Konarc features an integrated 450 W onboard charger that can plug directly into a standard power socket. An additional portable charger can also be used alongside the onboard unit.
The launch comes shortly after rival Ola Electric introduced its S1Z electric scooter range, targeting a similar mass-market demographic.
