Athoz Acquires Optimum Scouting to Enhance Athlete Evaluation
Athoz, an athlete intelligence platform, has acquired Optimum Scouting, a sports analytics and player projection firm. The deal integrates Optimum Scouting's analytics onto the Athoz platform, aiming to improve talent evaluation for NCAA athletic departments.

Athoz, a platform focusing on athlete intelligence, announced its acquisition of Optimum Scouting, a company specializing in sports analytics and player projections, on July 15, 2026. This strategic move integrates Optimum Scouting's data analysis and evaluation tools into the Athoz platform, providing NCAA athletic departments with a more efficient and precise method for assessing talent and making roster decisions.
For over a decade, Optimum Scouting has provided data-driven insights and evaluations for football players, advising professional leagues, agents, and college programs. Their expertise lies in translating raw sports data into actionable personnel strategies.
Athoz states it will incorporate Optimum Scouting's evaluation methodologies across its athlete intelligence platform. This integration is intended to equip college programs with enhanced data and insights necessary for proactive and informed talent recruitment.
"Optimum Scouting spent more than a decade turning football data into decisions that win," said Robert de Wolff, CEO of Athoz. "Bringing that expertise onto the Athoz platform gives athletic departments a faster, sharper way to evaluate talent and build the rosters that define winning programs."
Optimum Scouting will continue to serve its existing partners with the same level of service, now backed by Athoz's resources, technology, and expanded reach.
