Swedish industrial company Atlas Copco Group has expanded its reach in the United States by acquiring the compressed air business of 3C Industrial LLC. Based in Corpus Christi, Texas, 3C Industrial also operates branches in Houston, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Austin.
The acquired business provides air compressor equipment and related services primarily to general industry customers. 3C Industrial has 26 employees. The acquisition is part of Atlas Copco's strategy to broaden its service network and customer base within Texas.
Atlas Copco stated that the acquisition will enhance its presence in the growing industrial market of Texas. The company aims to offer a wider range of compressed air solutions and services to industrial clients in the region.
