Atlas Copco Group acquires Portuguese compressed air distributor Iberoair
Atlas Copco Group has acquired the assets of Portuguese firm Iberoair to expand its industrial service footprint in central Portugal.
Atlas Copco Group announced on November 3, 2026, that it has acquired the operating assets of Iberoair Lda. Based in Águeda, Portugal, the acquired firm specializes in the distribution and maintenance of compressed air equipment.
Iberoair maintains a diverse industrial client base, primarily serving the ceramics, light manufacturing, and mechanical engineering sectors throughout central Portugal. This move is designed to integrate Iberoair’s service capabilities into Atlas Copco’s existing regional operations.
"We are pleased to welcome Iberoair to the Group and note that this further expands our presence in Portugal to the benefit of our customers," said Philippe Ernens, Business Area President for Compressor Technique.
The acquisition reflects Atlas Copco's ongoing strategy to increase local service coverage. No financial details regarding the transaction were disclosed.
