Atlas-SSI acquires Linita Design & Manufacturing
Water management firm Atlas-SSI has acquired Linita Design & Manufacturing to expand its reach into the hydropower and dam infrastructure markets.
Atlas-SSI has announced the acquisition of Linita Design & Manufacturing, a firm specializing in custom-engineered hydro-mechanical equipment. The deal adds expertise in water-control gates, hoists, and trash-rack systems to Atlas-SSI’s existing portfolio of water management solutions.
Linita brings over three decades of manufacturing experience in the hydropower and dam sector. Atlas-SSI CEO Paul Lewis stated that the integration of the two companies aims to provide dam owners with more robust solutions for hydroelectric generation and infrastructure maintenance.
Linita CEO Carlos Vera noted that the acquisition allows for the expansion of their services while maintaining their established production standards. The move aligns with Atlas-SSI's broader strategy to consolidate its position in North American water infrastructure services.
