Atomic Mobile introduces multi-carrier IoT connectivity service

Atomic Mobile has unveiled Atomic Orbit, a cellular connectivity service aimed at securing reliable data access for Internet of Things (IoT) devices. By aggregating access to multiple national and regional carrier networks, the service enables devices to transition to the strongest available signal, mitigating risks associated with reliance on a single provider.

Designed for mobile assets such as point-of-sale terminals, smart meters, and fleet trackers, the system aims to eliminate connectivity dead zones. The service utilizes eSIM technology, allowing enterprises to scale their device deployments without the logistical burden of swapping physical SIM cards when carrier requirements change.

"The connection matters wherever the work happens," said Aaron Ogden, VP of Customer Success at Atomic Mobile. He noted that the solution was developed following demand from industries ranging from logistics to healthcare that require uninterrupted data access for field operations.

The platform includes a centralized management portal and API access, allowing for bulk device provisioning and real-time monitoring of network performance. Atomic Orbit is currently available for commercial deployment.
