The new facility, spanning over 10,000 square feet, includes multiple production lines designed to meet the growing demand for radioactive drugs. These drugs are crucial for diagnostic imaging and the development of cancer therapies.
The construction of the facility is part of AtomVie's strategy to expand its global footprint and enhance supply chain efficiency for the North American market. The company anticipates the facility will support numerous clinical trials and commercial applications.
CEO Julian Ng stated at the opening that the new plant will enable faster patient access to essential radiopharmaceutical products. The investment strengthens the company's position as a key player in the sector.
