ATS Energy Secures Investment for Waste-Heat Power Technology Deployment

Technology firm ATS Energy has secured new funding to accelerate the commercial production of its Solid-State Generator technology, which converts industrial waste heat into electricity.

14 October 2026

ATS Energy, a Loveland, Colorado-based developer of technology that converts industrial waste heat directly into electricity, has closed a new financing round. The capital infusion is intended to accelerate the commercial production of the company's Solid-State Generator (SSG) technology.

The investment will support the expansion of production capabilities. ATS Energy plans to utilize the funds to manufacture its proprietary thermoelectric cartridges, a core component of its Solid-State Generators, with the first commercial unit targeted for deployment by mid-2027.

ATS Energy's technology utilizes solid-state solutions, eliminating the need for turbines or moving parts, to transform waste heat from industrial processes into usable electricity. The company has already demonstrated its technology's efficacy and built a substantial commercial pipeline. This new funding facilitates the transition from breakthrough technology to commercial production, addressing growing demand across multiple industrial sectors.

The company is focusing on scaling manufacturing through contract manufacturing partners, which is designed to reduce capital expenditures and provide a scalable foundation. ATS Energy has also appointed Edward Ganja as Chief Technology Officer to guide the transition to commercial manufacturing. The firm anticipates commencing revenue-generating operations in 2027.
