Gaming peripheral company ATTACK SHARK has announced the RS6 ULTRA, a wireless gaming mouse designed for competitive players. The device's key feature is its proprietary magnetic hot-swappable battery technology, intended to overcome limitations of traditional wireless mice.
The RS6 ULTRA utilizes a magnetic alignment system that allows for quick, tool-free battery replacement without interrupting gameplay. A dual-battery system with an included 8K receiver ensures continuous wireless performance, as one battery powers the mouse while the spare is charged.
The mouse also includes an adjustable sensor positioning system, allowing users to customize the sensor placement based on grip and hand size. It is equipped with a PixArt PAW3955MAX sensor and a Nordic nRF54L15 wireless MCU, supporting up to 8,000Hz polling rates and 52,000 DPI.
ATTACK SHARK states the RS6 ULTRA features a lightweight carbon fiber construction with a ventilated design for comfort during extended use. The company reports a button latency of under 0.168 milliseconds in 8K mode, aiming for responsiveness in fast-paced gaming.
