Audi A2 e-tron Debuts at Paris Motor Show

Audi presented its fully electric A2 e-tron compact car at the Paris Motor Show, introducing it to an international audience for the first time since its world premiere in September. The model, manufactured at Audi's Ingolstadt plant, stands as Audi's most efficient vehicle to date, with a WLTP consumption of 12.8 kWh/100 km and a range of up to 646 kilometers.

The new A2 e-tron represents Audi's strategy to expand its range of fully electric vehicles in the European market. The car is designed to meet the needs of European consumers, combining efficiency, everyday usability, and intelligent connectivity. "The Audi A2 e-tron has a clear profile: maximum efficiency, high everyday usability, and technology with real customer benefit," stated Rouven Mohr, Head of Technical Development at Audi.

The model builds on the legacy of the original Audi A2, which over two decades ago pioneered a new approach by consistently focusing on efficiency, lightweight construction, and practicality. The new electric version brings these principles into the electric age, while also demonstrating Audi's transformation.

Audi has accelerated the development process for the A2 e-tron, bringing it to market 21 months earlier than comparable predecessor models. This highlights the company's efforts to streamline and speed up product development and production. The A2 e-tron embodies Audi's current philosophy, where premium means using resources more intelligently without compromising on quality, technology, or customer experience.
