Audi delivers 1.6 million vehicles in 2025 amid challenging year
Audi delivered over 1.6 million vehicles worldwide in 2025, a decrease of approximately 3 percent compared to the previous year. Deliveries of electric vehicles, however, saw significant growth.
Audi reported worldwide deliveries of 1,623,551 vehicles in 2025, marking a decrease of approximately 2.9 percent compared to the prior year. Despite the overall decline, deliveries showed an upward trend from September onwards, with total orders increasing by over 13 percent compared to 2024.
Global geopolitical and economic challenges, including intense competition in China and US tariff policies, impacted the automotive sector. While strong performances in Europe, Germany, and emerging markets provided some offset, these factors limited overall growth. The company noted that its product initiative is beginning to reflect in delivery figures.
Deliveries of fully electric vehicles reached a record of over 223,000 units in 2025, an increase of approximately 36 percent year-over-year. New electric models such as the Audi A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron were highlighted as key drivers of this demand. Audi achieved delivery records in several markets, including Canada, Poland, Turkey, and Denmark.
In Europe, deliveries remained stable at over 487,000 vehicles, with electric vehicle deliveries up by about 41 percent. Germany saw a 4 percent increase to over 206,000 vehicles, with electric deliveries surging by 89 percent. North America experienced a 12.2 percent decrease to 202,143 units, despite a 15 percent rise in electric vehicle deliveries. In China, the largest market, deliveries fell 5 percent to 617,514 vehicles amid heightened competition.
