Audi Group Reports Stable Operating Profit in H1 2026 Amid Market Challenges

The Audi Group achieved a stable operating profit of 1.1 billion euros in the first half of 2026, navigating a challenging market environment characterized by geopolitical uncertainties, US tariffs, and intense competition, particularly in China. Revenue for the period stood at 29.2 billion euros, with a net cash flow of 1.9 billion euros.

Despite these results, CFO Jürgen Rittersberger emphasized the ongoing need for greater efficiency and clear priorities to enhance the company's competitiveness. The automotive industry faces increasing pressure, necessitating strategic realignments and structural improvements in collaboration with the Volkswagen Group.

Audi is concurrently proceeding with its product portfolio renewal. At the end of July, the company unveiled its new flagship model, the Audi Q9, designed to strengthen its position in the premium segment, especially for the US market. The fully electric Audi A2 e-tron is set to expand the lineup in the entry-level electric segment in the fall.

CEO Gernot Döllner stated that the new models are evidence of the consistent implementation of Audi's strategy. The company is undergoing transformation, including the introduction of the AUDI brand exclusive to China and its entry into Formula 1, alongside a focused product portfolio tailored to regional customer needs.
