Audi Group Strengthens International Leadership Team
Audi Group is implementing leadership changes at Automobili Lamborghini, its Chinese brand AUDI, and the Neckarsulm plant, effective July 1, 2026.

Audi Group has announced several key appointments within its international leadership structure, aimed at enhancing knowledge transfer between its subsidiaries and across production and technical development divisions. These changes will take effect on July 1, 2026.
Fermín Soneira will transition to the role of Chief Technical Officer at Automobili Lamborghini, succeeding Rouven Mohr who recently moved to AUDI AG as a Member of the Board for Technical Development. Fred Schulze, currently plant manager at the Neckarsulm facility, will assume Soneira's prior position as CEO of the AUDI and SAIC cooperation project in China. Thomas Bogus, formerly CEO of Audi Brussels, is appointed as the new plant manager for the Audi Neckarsulm plant.
Audi CEO Gernot Döllner stated that these strategic personnel changes are designed to strengthen the "Brand Group Progressive" worldwide. "We rely on leaders who combine market expertise, operational excellence, and technical competence," Döllner said. He highlighted Soneira's qualifications for shaping Lamborghini's future as a tech-driven supercar brand, Schulze's experience in China to enhance AUDI's strategic profile there, and Bogus's expertise in electric vehicles and value chain management for the Neckarsulm plant.
The Audi Group continues its global transformation. Automobili Lamborghini is advancing its electrification strategy, already offering a fully hybridized model lineup. The AUDI brand in China is rapidly expanding its product portfolio, with new models planned following the recent launch of the E5 Sportback. The Neckarsulm site is also reinforcing its role as a center for artificial intelligence, in addition to its capabilities in premium model development and production.
