Audi opens Shanghai innovation center for four-model development

Audi China has established an innovation technology center in Shanghai in partnership with SAIC Group. The facility is designated for the development of AUDI-brand vehicles specifically for the Chinese market, covering aspects from product definition and platform engineering to system integration.

The joint initiative aims to develop four new AUDI-brand models utilizing the next-generation Advanced Digital Platform. The center's primary focus will be on electric vehicles, connected car technologies, AI-powered cockpits, and driver-assistance systems tailored for Chinese consumers.
