Audi reported solid financial results for the 2024 fiscal year, with revenue of 64.5 billion euros and operating profit of 3.9 billion euros, despite challenging market conditions. The company is advancing its transformation strategy with a focus on model renewal and efficiency.
The German automaker's operating profit stood at 3.9 billion euros, with an operating return on sales of 6 percent. Net cash flow reached 3.1 billion euros. CEO Gernot Döllner stated that Audi is strategically realigning the company with new models, a stronger setup in China, and more efficient structures. "Global economic changes and intensified international competition pose major challenges to Audi and the industry as a whole. We face this reality with the courage to break new ground and with confidence in our traditional strengths," Döllner said.
Despite difficult economic conditions, a fierce market environment, and in some cases limited delivery capacity, Audi delivered 1,671,218 vehicles in 2024, including 164,480 fully electric cars. The Brand Group Progressive, comprising Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Ducati, delivered a total of 1,692,548 cars and 54,495 motorcycles.
Audi is accelerating the renewal of its product portfolio, planning to introduce over 20 new models by the end of 2025, half of which will be fully electric. The company aims to have the youngest product portfolio among its competitors by year-end 2025. Key focus areas for 2025 include the renewal of the A6 and Q3 model series. Audi is also strengthening its market positions in the United States and China through new model launches and expanded local electric vehicle production.
