Audi Unveils Design for Formula 1 Entry
Audi has revealed the R26 Concept car, previewing the design and livery for its upcoming Formula 1 entry. The concept showcases the brand's new visual identity set to be implemented across its motorsport activities.

German automaker Audi has offered a glimpse into its Formula 1 future by unveiling the R26 Concept car. This concept provides a preview of the design and color scheme for Audi's first Formula 1 race car, which is set to be revealed in January.
Audi CEO Gernot Döllner stated that the company's entry into Formula 1 represents a significant step in its renewal. "We are not entering Formula 1 just to be there. We want to win," Döllner said. He outlined an ambitious roadmap, aiming for a World Championship title by 2030, while acknowledging that success will require time, perseverance, and a continuous questioning of the status quo.
The Formula 1 team is positioned to spearhead Audi's new brand identity. The R26 Concept reflects the company's recently introduced design philosophy, guided by four principles: clarity, technical, intelligent, and emotional. "We are implementing a unifying design language that draws together every aspect of our organization," explained Audi Chief Creative Officer Massimo Frascella.
The concept car's color palette features Titanium, Carbon Black, and the newly introduced Audi Red. The racing car will also incorporate red rings, selectively used to emphasize Audi's Formula 1 presence. This new visual identity is planned for rollout across both the F1 team and Audi's future production models.
