Ingolstadt/Beijing – Audi has unveiled its first all-electric SUV for the Chinese market, the AUDI E7X, at the Auto China 2026 exhibition in Beijing. Developed in collaboration with SAIC, this vehicle is tailored specifically for China and represents the brand's second production model under this partnership.

The E7X is built on the jointly developed Advanced Digitized Platform (ADP), enabling advanced connectivity and over-the-air software updates. It will be offered in two powertrain variants: a 300 kW rear-wheel-drive version and a 500 kW quattro all-wheel-drive model capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Battery capacities are 100 kWh or 109 kWh, with the larger pack providing a CLTC-estimated range of over 750 kilometers.

Charging capabilities include 4C fast charging, which can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in just 13 minutes. The interior features include advanced comfort options like "zero-gravity" seats and a 21.4-inch rear-seat entertainment display. The SUV measures 5,049 mm in length, 1,997 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,060 mm.

Gernot Döllner, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG, stated that the E7X extends the brand's vision for the electric era in China. Fermín Soneira, CEO of the Audi and SAIC Cooperation Project, highlighted the vehicle's blend of Audi heritage and future-oriented digital technologies. Production of the E7X will take place at Audi's intelligent production facility in Anting, Shanghai, with its market launch planned for the first half of 2026.
