Audi Unveils New Q9 Flagship SUV for US Market

German automaker Audi has officially unveiled the 2027 Q9, its new range-topping full-size SUV. While a third-generation Q7 also debuted recently, the Q9 is positioned as Audi's new flagship, particularly in markets like the United States that favor larger vehicles.
The Q9 measures 209 inches (5,309 mm) in length, 79.2 inches (2,012 mm) in width, and 71.4 inches (1,814 mm) in height. Its wheelbase is 123.5 inches (3,137 mm), which is 5.6 inches (142 mm) longer than the Q7's, providing enhanced space, especially for the third row.
Designed to compete with large American SUVs such as the Cadillac Escalade, the Q9 offers a more curved body style than previous Audi models. Its silhouette resembles an enlarged station wagon, aiming to appeal to buyers seeking spacious luxury.
