The annual independent audit verified the effectiveness of 116 controls over a 12-month period, offering MSPs third-party assurance before connecting to a client's Microsoft 365 environment.
The audit encompasses all five Trust Services Criteria: Security, Availability, Confidentiality, Processing Integrity, and Privacy. These criteria form the basis for 116 organizational controls and 163 tests of those controls, ensuring the security of the Augmentt platform when it receives delegated access to a client's Microsoft 365 environment.
Augmentt utilizes the Vanta platform for continuous monitoring between audits. Vanta integrates with key Microsoft services and other systems, gathering data on security posture and any deviations. This continuous monitoring complements the annual audit and provides real-time insights into the service's status.
The company emphasizes that continuous monitoring is essential for maintaining a high level of security. Augmentt aims to provide its clients with confidence in the platform's security and its ability to meet stringent industry requirements. MSPs can request the SOC 2 report and penetration test summaries from Augmentt's Trust Center.
