August Calhoun Appointed CEO of TriNetX
TriNetX has appointed August Calhoun as its new Chief Executive Officer. Jeff Margolis will resume his role as Chairman of the Board.
TriNetX, a global health data network operator, announced on July 27, 2026, the appointment of August Calhoun as its new Chief Executive Officer. Calhoun's appointment is effective immediately. Jeff Margolis, who had been serving as interim CEO and Executive Chairman since December 2024, will return to his role as Chairman of the Board.
Calhoun brings over 25 years of executive experience in the health data, technology, and services sectors. He has held leadership positions at prominent industry companies including RLDatix, Optum Insight, Change Healthcare, and Siemens. His background includes developing and growing industry-leading businesses serving healthcare providers, payers, and life sciences clients globally.
"TriNetX has established a unique global health data network over the past 13 years, trusted by leading health systems and life sciences companies for their most complex research questions," Calhoun stated. He emphasized the company's strong position for global expansion, driven by its network and data quality.
