Aurania Resources continues exploration for gold, copper, and silver in Ecuador

Aurania Resources Ltd. has continued its exploration of mineral systems in southeastern Ecuador, according to information released in May 2022. The company is specifically focused on identifying deposits of gold, copper, and silver.

The company controls a substantial land package of approximately 207,764 hectares in southeastern Ecuador, an area noted as an emerging mineral belt. The region is already host to several major mining and exploration projects operated by both domestic and international entities, including SolGold, Lundin Mining, and BHP.

Aurania's projects are strategically situated within a promising mineral province that has previously yielded successful discoveries. The Aurelian Resources gold discovery at Fruta del Norte in 2006 serves as a notable indicator of the area's potential.

The company's exploration efforts benefit from new, mining-friendly government initiatives in the region and the progress at adjacent projects like Solaris Warintza and SolGold's Cascabel. Aurania aims to leverage these factors to enhance the effectiveness of its exploration programs.
