Austrian Skincare Company RINGANA Expands to U.S. Market

Austrian skincare and life science company RINGANA is set to enter the United States market in November 2026, coinciding with its 30th anniversary. The company, which generates approximately €300 million in annual revenue and operates in around 40 markets, is known for its fresh cosmetics and supplements.

The expansion includes a planned $85 million investment over five years in Roanoke, Virginia. RINGANA intends to establish its first U.S. headquarters there, along with local production and distribution operations. The project is expected to create over 400 jobs and aims to support the company's long-term growth in the American market by bringing production closer to customers.

Founded in 1996, RINGANA has grown from an Austrian fresh cosmetics company into an international player in skincare and life sciences. Its core philosophy centers on freshness, influencing every stage from formulation and production to customer delivery. This model emphasizes small-batch production, short shelf lives, and the avoidance of traditional preservatives, focusing on plant-based ingredients.

"For 30 years, freshness has guided every decision we make," said co-founder Andreas Wilfinger. "Entering the United States is a major step for our company. We want to build a lasting presence here, and investing in local production is fundamental to that commitment."

RINGANA's vegan portfolio includes skincare, dietary supplements, and functional life science products. The company will maintain its headquarters in Styria, Austria, for research, development, and primary production. The planned Roanoke facility is intended to shorten delivery times and create a more efficient supply chain within the U.S.
