Autonex Group Launches, Unifying AutoScout24 and AutoTrader.ca Brands

Autonex officially launched today as a unified international automotive marketplace group, bringing together prominent brands including AutoScout24 and AutoTrader.ca across nine markets in Europe and Canada. The newly formed group announced annual revenues surpassing €800 million and serves over 40 million unique monthly users, working with more than 45,000 dealer partners and listing over two million vehicles at any given time.

The consolidation under the Autonex banner aims to leverage a shared platform featuring "Autonex Intelligence," an AI-powered suite designed to enhance interactions and decision support for both dealers and consumers. This integration seeks to streamline operations and accelerate development across the Group's portfolio, which holds leading market positions in countries such as Canada, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Austria, and the Nordics.

CEO Peter Brooks-Johnson stated that Autonex is positioned to "redefine automotive marketplaces" by combining scale, technology, and ambition. The Autonex Intelligence platform utilizes proprietary data and AI to offer advanced features like conversational search for consumers, acting as a personalized car-buying assistant, and a dealer agent providing actionable insights on inventory management and market performance.

The group will continue to operate under its established consumer and dealer-facing brands. Furthermore, Autonex is enhancing its cross-border B2B trading capabilities through AutoProff, aiming to simplify and improve the efficiency of wholesale transactions for used vehicles across European markets by offering services like auctions, inspections, and escrow.
