AV-TEST Awards 2025 Recognize AVG for Usability and macOS Security

The AV-TEST Institute has recognized AVG with two significant awards for its 2025 cybersecurity products aimed at consumer users. AVG Internet Security received the "Best Usability 2025" award for Windows, acknowledging its proficiency in differentiating between benign and malicious files without generating false alarms.

AVG AntiVirus for macOS also secured the "Best macOS Security 2025" award. This recognizes the software's consistently high protection levels throughout the testing period in 2025 on Apple operating systems. Both awards are part of AV-TEST's annual recognition of top-performing security software.

AV-TEST conducts thousands of tests annually to evaluate security products for Windows, Mac, and Android. The institute issues certificates for tested security and presents awards to products that demonstrate consistent top scores across all tests. In 2025, AV-TEST is presenting 25 awards to 12 manufacturers across 11 categories.
