AV-TEST Evaluates 15 Enterprise Security Solutions Over Six-Month Period
AV-TEST has released the results of a comprehensive long-term study assessing the performance of 15 enterprise security products on Windows 10 and 11.
Research laboratory AV-TEST has concluded a six-month endurance test evaluating the efficacy of 15 endpoint security solutions designed for corporate environments. Conducted between March and August 2025, the study aimed to provide insights into how security software maintains protection as organizations transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Each of the 15 products—from vendors including Avast, Bitdefender, ESET, Microsoft, Sophos, and Trellix—was assessed across three key metrics: protection efficacy, system performance impact, and usability. A total of 18 points were available, with five products achieving the maximum score.
Regarding malware detection, seven of the tested solutions demonstrated 100 percent detection rates in both real-world scenarios and reference testing. The laboratory noted that with the decline of Windows 10 support, ensuring consistent performance across different operating systems remains a critical component for corporate risk mitigation strategies.
