AV-TEST Releases New Cybersecurity Test Results
Cybersecurity firm AV-TEST has published new test results covering Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, Android malware, and enterprise security gateways.
German cybersecurity firm AV-TEST has released several new test reports. Recent publications include an evaluation of the Padvish XDR solution's capabilities, an examination of stalkerware threats targeting Android devices, and an assessment of enterprise security gateway performance.
A comprehensive EDR test, published in March 2026, focused on the Padvish XDR system's effectiveness in threat detection and response. The testing, conducted in November 2025, assessed the system's performance against sophisticated threats.
In July 2021, a report addressed the rising threat of stalkerware on Android devices. These programs are designed for covert surveillance and espionage, with the report highlighting how security applications can identify such malicious software.
AV-TEST also published findings in June 2021 regarding security gateways for businesses. This research evaluated various gateway solutions, essential for filtering and protecting data traffic within corporate networks, including cloud-based, virtual machine, and physical appliance options.
