Avatr 06T Shooting Brake Knight Edition to Launch September 20

Chinese automaker Avatr released additional official images of its new 06T Shooting Brake Knight Edition model on September 19. The vehicle is slated for an official market debut on September 20.

The car features Avatr's family design language with semi-hidden door handles. It is equipped with an 896-line Lidar sensor on the roof and a popular贯穿式 (guànchuānshì - through-type) rear light bar. Standard configuration includes the Taihang distributed electric drive system.

This release marks a new variant of the Avatr 06T, which was initially launched in April. Current models come standard with Huawei's Kunlun ADS 4 system and CATL's 5C ultra-fast charging battery. The Avatr 06T series is priced between 219,900 and 279,900 yuan (approximately $30,000 to $38,000 USD).

Existing models are equipped with the HarmonyOS operating system (HarmonySpace 5) and the MoLA large model, featuring a 35.4-inch 4K panoramic display. The vehicle measures 4940x1960x1475mm with a wheelbase of 2940mm.

The available powertrains include a tri-motor all-wheel-drive electric version with a peak power of 210kW (front) and 251kW (rear), and a dual-motor rear-wheel-drive electric version with 251kW. An extended-range hybrid battery offers over 330km of CLTC electric range, while a new large battery provides over 740km of CLTC range.
