Automaker Avatr has announced that its T09 concept car will have its global debut on October 11. The vehicle will also be showcased at the 2026 Paris International Motor Show.
The exterior design of the new model has been a focus, with the company recently releasing details about its appearance. The Avatr T09 concept car will feature a new Vortex design language, intended to bring a warmer feel to technology. Key exterior elements include new diamond-array headlights and a crystal emblem on the front, designed to convey a sense of "prestige."
The T09 is a joint design effort between Avatr and Huawei Kunqun. Previous reveals showed a front-end design with a dot-matrix closed grille and split headlights. A lidar sensor is integrated into the roofline, expected to be Huawei's 896-line imaging-grade lidar. The car also features semi-hidden door handles.
Avatr has completed the vehicle's filing process, and it will be available in two powertrain configurations. Dimensions are 5285mm in length, 2025mm in width, and 1810mm or 1820mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3150mm. The vehicle is designed to accommodate six passengers.
The first powertrain option includes a 1.5-liter (110kW) engine paired with front and rear electric motors (180kW / 310kW). The second option features a 2.0-liter (155kW) engine and three electric motors (180kW / 225kW / 225kW). Both configurations have a top speed of 220 km/h.
