Automaker Avatr has scheduled the global debut of its T09 model for October 11. The vehicle is a plug-in hybrid sports utility vehicle targeting the premium market segment.
According to filings with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Avatr T09 measures 5285 mm in length, 2025 mm in width, and 1810–1820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3150 mm. The vehicle is configured to seat six occupants.
Technical specifications reveal two powertrain options. The first integrates a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with electric motors producing 180 kW at the front and 310 kW at the rear. The second version utilizes a 2.0-liter gasoline engine and three electric motors, delivering 180 kW at the front and 225 kW to each rear wheel. Both configurations achieve a top speed of 220 km/h.
The Avatr T09 offers extensive customization, including various exterior styling packages and options such as roof racks and two-tone paint schemes. The vehicle is equipped with the mandatory Event Data Recorder (EDR) system.
