Chinese automaker Avatr has released teaser images of its upcoming T09 model, which is slated for a global premiere at the 2026 Paris International Motor Show. The vehicle's design is a joint effort between Avatr and Huawei Kunpeng.
The T09 features a closed-grid front fascia with a dot-matrix pattern and split headlights. A LiDAR sensor is positioned on the roof, expected to be from Huawei. Semi-hidden door handles contribute to the car's modern aesthetic.
The vehicle is configured to seat six passengers, measuring 5285mm in length, 2025mm in width, and 1810 or 1820mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3150mm. Avatr T09 will be available in two distinct powertrain configurations.
The first version utilizes a 1497 cc engine producing 110 kW, with combined front and rear motor outputs reaching 180 kW and 310 kW respectively. The second version features a more potent 1998 cc engine at 155 kW, with front and rear motor outputs of 180 kW and 225 kW each. Both configurations are rated for a top speed of 220 km/h.
