Automaker Avatr has released official images of its upcoming T09 model, scheduled for a global debut on October 11. The vehicle has previously been positioned as a premium technology flagship.
The Avatr T09, a plug-in hybrid sport utility vehicle, was declared in the 411th batch of "Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products Announcements" by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) on September 8. Dimensions are listed at 5285mm in length, 2025mm in width, and 1810-1820mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3150mm.
Two powertrain variants are detailed in the MIIT filings. The first variant features a 1.5-liter (110 kW) engine paired with front (180 kW) and rear (310 kW) electric motors. Its curb weight ranges from 2880kg to 2968kg, with a gross vehicle weight of 3505kg and a top speed of 220 km/h.
The second variant utilizes a 2.0-liter (155 kW) engine. This model is equipped with a 180 kW front electric motor and dual 225 kW rear electric motors, providing a combined 450 kW at the rear. Its curb weight is 3035kg, gross vehicle weight is 3630kg, and it also has a top speed of 220 km/h.
