Avatr Technology Confirms Wang Hui Remains Chairman, Oversees Some Overseas Business
Avatr Technology has addressed rumors of leadership changes, confirming that Wang Hui continues as Chairman and also oversees part of长安汽车's overseas operations.
Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Avatr Technology has responded to reports of changes in its leadership. The company confirmed that Wang Hui remains Avatr's Chairman and is also an Executive Vice President at长安汽车, with responsibilities extending to a portion of the company's overseas business.
The reports emerged earlier in September, suggesting Wang Hui was being reassigned to lead长安汽车 Group's international operations. While Wang Hui maintains his positions, his focus is reportedly shifting to manage长安's overseas ventures, particularly in Southeast Asia and Latin America.
Wang Hui's initial mandate as Avatr Chairman was to facilitate the company's initial public offering (IPO). However, reports indicate that the IPO process has not progressed as expected. He has also been a significant figure in长安's collaboration with technology firm Huawei.
Concurrently, 陈卓, who serves as长安汽车's Vice President and Avatr's President, is expected to expand his management scope within Avatr's operations. 陈卓 is noted as one of长安's emerging executives.
Avatr Technology is an electric vehicle company formed through a partnership involving长安汽车, Huawei, and Chongqing Rural Investment Group, focusing on the premium electric vehicle market.
