Avatr to Launch Large Six-Seater SUV by Year-End in Full Huawei Collaboration
Avatr Technology announced it will introduce a large six-seater SUV by the end of the year, marking the first model to be developed through a comprehensive collaboration with Huawei. The new vehicle will integrate Huawei's automotive technologies.

Avatr Technology is set to launch a large six-seater SUV by the end of this year, according to Yong Jun, Vice President of Avatr Technology. This upcoming model represents the first vehicle developed under a full-scale collaboration with Huawei, incorporating technologies from the tech giant in areas such as vehicle control, lighting, voice interaction, and intelligent driving systems.
The announcement was made during the 23rd Sohu Auto Marketing Summit held in Lu'an. This deep integration with Huawei signifies a strategic move for Avatr as it aims to enhance its product offerings and technological capabilities in the competitive electric vehicle market.
Avatr, backed by Changan Automobile, has previously outlined plans to expand its lineup through a "HIPlus" cooperation model. This strategy includes the development of extended-range variants, mid-to-large sized five-seater and six-seater SUVs, as well as sports cars and MPVs to cater to diverse consumer needs and accelerate its growth as an international premium brand.
The company is focusing on the 250,000 to 700,000 yuan price segment through 2025. A flagship large six-seater SUV, positioned in the million-yuan range, is slated for launch in 2026.
Looking further ahead, Avatr plans to introduce a total of 17 new products by 2030, establishing a comprehensive product matrix that includes sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and sports cars.
