Private equity firm Avesi Partners has announced an investment in New Age Medical, a company that operates as a hub for medical technology solutions within the spinal surgery market. The investment is intended to support New Age Medical's plans for national expansion, entry into new specialties, and growth through acquisitions.
Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, New Age Medical acts as a central link between medical device manufacturers, hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, surgeons, and medical device sales representatives. The company collaborates nationwide with over 85 original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), 100 representatives, 200 hospitals/ASCs, and 350 surgeons. New Age Medical's model aims to simplify the supply chain and facilitate vendor consolidation for hospitals and ASCs, while providing surgeons and patients with the latest products from manufacturers.
Kevin Bly, Founder and CEO of New Age Medical, stated that Avesi shares the company's conviction in durable growth resulting from serving all stakeholders.
