AvevoRx Launches Digital Platform for Alpha-1 Patients
AvevoRx has launched a new website and digital initiative focused on Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD). The platform provides education, support, and resources for patients, families, and healthcare providers.

AvevoRx, a national provider of specialty infusion pharmacy services, has launched a new digital platform exclusively dedicated to Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD). The Greensboro, North Carolina-based company is expanding its efforts to connect patients, their families, and healthcare providers with AATD education, advocacy support, and specialized care.
The new website, AvevoRxAlpha.com, serves as a centralized online resource for newly diagnosed Alpha-1 patients, those seeking specialized treatment and support, and physicians looking to connect patients with experienced Alpha-1 care. This initiative also includes dedicated social media channels and targeted outreach to patients and healthcare providers nationwide.
"Many Alpha-1 patients have spent years navigating a complex healthcare system. Even after diagnosis, they may have questions about treatment, insurance, and financial assistance," said Ric Logsdon, Senior Director and Alpha-1 Program Manager at AvevoRx. "We wanted to create a convenient resource that makes those answers easier to find and provides patients with a direct connection to people who understand Alpha-1 and the challenges they face."
Alpha-1 is an inherited genetic condition affecting the lungs and liver that remains significantly underdiagnosed in the United States. AvevoRx's Alpha-1 program combines specialty pharmacy services with dedicated patient advocacy, education, insurance coordination, and financial assistance navigation. The company is the only privately held specialty pharmacy provider with access to all four FDA-approved augmentation therapies for Alpha-1.
