Aviation Capital Group and Aerolíneas Argentinas Agree on Lease for Six Boeing 737-10 Aircraft
Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has signed a lease agreement with Aerolíneas Argentinas for six new Boeing 737-10 aircraft. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in 2028.
Aircraft lessor Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has finalized a lease agreement with Argentinian flag carrier Aerolíneas Argentinas for six new Boeing 737-10 aircraft. The announcement was made in Farnborough, England.
The new aircraft are slated for delivery starting in 2028. Aerolíneas Argentinas plans to utilize these six planes to increase capacity from its main hubs at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Airport and Ezeiza Airport, serving domestic and South American destinations.
Thomas Baker, CEO of ACG, stated the company is pleased to expand its partnership with Aerolíneas Argentinas. He noted that the 737-10 provides airlines with needed additional capacity, improved fuel efficiency, and enhanced profitability, making it suitable for high-demand routes.
Fabián Lombardo, President and CEO of Aerolíneas Argentinas, confirmed the agreement is a key component of the airline's fleet plan for 2027-2031. He highlighted that the aircraft will allow for increased capacity on popular domestic and regional routes, improve operational efficiency, and offer passengers a more competitive product.
Aviation Capital Group is a leading full-service aircraft asset manager. As of March 31, 2026, the company had approximately 500 owned, managed, and committed aircraft leased to about 90 airlines in 50 countries.
