The initiative aims to protect forests by ensuring that avocados are sourced from suppliers who do not engage in deforestation.
The program enables traceability throughout the production process, allowing retailers to exclude suppliers sourcing from areas where forest destruction has occurred. This has directly contributed to the preservation of valuable ecosystems in Mexico.
