Awol Vision has introduced the LuxVision projector, combining ultra-short throw (UST) capabilities with optical lens shift for 4K 120Hz image quality. The device is reported to produce 6000 ISO lumens of brightness and a 120-inch image from just 7.5 inches away from the wall.
The standout feature is its vertical optical lens shift. Most UST projectors use digital means to align the image, which can degrade picture quality. The LuxVision's optical adjustment allows the image to be moved up and down without compromising the detail in the original 4K picture or resorting to digital keystone correction.
