AWS and Very Good Security enhance data security for FinTech

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is partnering with Very Good Security (VGS) to offer financial sector companies enhanced solutions for data security and regulatory compliance. The collaboration aims to simplify requirements such as PCI-DSS, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO27001.

Typically, meeting these standards necessitates significant architectural and workload modifications for businesses. VGS provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution designed to offload information security burdens and breach risk, while allowing customers to retain full data control.

The partnership focuses on securing VGS's inbound and outbound connections within the AWS cloud environment. This approach is intended to accelerate compliance efforts and reduce the time and cost associated with identifying sensitive data, protecting it with permissions, and encrypting it both at rest and in transit.

This technical collaboration is part of the AWS Partner Network (APN), where VGS is a recognized partner. The initiative seeks to equip financial institutions with more efficient and secure methods for managing and protecting personally identifiable information (PII) and other sensitive data within the cloud.
