Amazon Web Services (AWS) has introduced AWS Builder Center, a new online platform that consolidates all resources for the AWS builder community. This unified service integrates the former AWS Developer Center and community.aws forums, offering a single destination for developers and technical professionals to access information, connect, and share knowledge.
A key new feature within Builder Center is "Wishlist," which enables users to submit suggestions for new features or improvements to AWS services. Community members can vote on these proposals and share their own ideas, allowing customers to directly influence AWS product development. AWS states it will monitor popular wishes to bring them to the attention of service teams.
The platform also includes a "Connect" section designed to facilitate direct interaction with other AWS users and experts, such as AWS Heroes. The goal is to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration among professionals working with cloud services.
The rollout of AWS Builder Center is part of AWS's ongoing effort to support the growth of technical communities and provide builders with the tools and platforms they need to develop and disseminate their expertise.
