AWS Releases Demo Recordings from MWC24

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has made recordings of its demonstrations from Mobile World Congress (MWC) 24 available online. The event featured over 20 customer-focused partner-integrated demos across generative AI, SaaS, network cloudification, and network APIs.

AWS showcased its customer-centric approach at the event, presenting proof points and customer success stories, particularly within the telecommunications industry. The demonstrations were categorized into three main themes: transforming telcos, digitizing industries, and reimagining consumer experience. These included cloud-based radio access network (RAN) optimization, 5G core network scaling, network lifecycle management, and the application of AI.

According to AWS, communication service providers are shifting from complex RAN products to more flexible and scalable cloud-based network solutions. This transition enables new use cases, including generative AI applications and large language models (LLMs), while also enhancing network performance and data insights.

The demo recordings are intended for organizations looking to leverage cloud services for modernizing telecommunications networks and developing new revenue streams and improved customer experiences.
