AXA XL expands Rana Gillmon’s leadership role to East Zone
AXA XL has appointed Rana Gillmon to lead client and distribution activities for its U.S. East Zone, adding to her existing responsibilities for private equity client relations in the Americas.
AXA XL announced that Rana Gillmon will oversee client and distribution efforts across the U.S. East Zone. This appointment expands her current remit, which already includes directing the company's growth strategy for private equity clients throughout the Americas.
Matt O'Malley, Chief Client & Distribution Officer for the Americas, stated that the move is intended to unify underwriting and distribution teams to improve service delivery for regional brokers and clients. Gillmon joined AXA XL in 2022 and has been tasked with leveraging the firm's global resources to support its client base.
With over 25 years of industry experience, Gillmon previously held roles at Chubb as a Global Client Executive and spent 16 years at Marsh. Her tenure at Marsh included a leadership role in the Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions Group and managing multinational business programs in Dubai for the Gulf region.
