AXA XL names Tim Brewer as Head of Commercial Bonds for the Americas
AXA XL has appointed industry veteran Tim Brewer to lead its Commercial Bonds business in the Americas. He will oversee regional product strategy, underwriting performance, and market growth.
AXA XL has appointed Tim Brewer as the new Head of Commercial Bonds for the Americas. In his new capacity, Brewer will oversee the strategic direction and underwriting performance of the commercial surety portfolio across the region. He will report directly to Sylvain Bouteillé, Chief Underwriting Officer for Specialty in the Americas.
Brewer arrives with over 20 years of experience in the surety market, most recently serving as National Field Director of Commercial Surety at Skyward Specialty Insurance. His appointment comes as AXA XL aims to consolidate its market position and increase its share in specialized commercial insurance products.
According to the company, the leadership change is intended to bolster expertise within the division and improve service capabilities for brokers and corporate clients. Brewer holds a degree in finance from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Troy University, along with the Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding designation.
