Axians Deutschland optimizes EV charging infrastructure with digital services

Munich – Axians Deutschland, part of the VINCI Energies group, has launched a new digital service offering designed to improve the operation of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The model focuses on increasing system availability and reducing operational costs through data analysis and proactive maintenance.

The service targets operators such as utility companies, energy providers, retail chains, and fleet managers who face growing pressure to ensure high uptime for their charging points and optimize maintenance efforts. Traditional reactive maintenance approaches, where issues are identified only after user complaints or on-site inspections, are proving insufficient.

Axians' solution utilizes cloud-based technology to analyze real-time technical data, temperature logs, and operational metrics from charging systems. This enables the early detection, classification, and remote analysis of potential faults. The system can often resolve issues automatically or route them to the appropriate service team with detailed diagnostic information.

Approximately 90 percent of identified faults can be resolved remotely, significantly reducing the need for physical service calls. When on-site intervention is necessary, technicians receive pre-diagnosed information, streamlining the repair process. The scalable model is designed for both localized and international deployments, ensuring consistent service quality across different regions.
