Axians Germany Unifies Companies Under Single Brand
Axians Deutschland, the ICT brand of VINCI Energies, has unified several subsidiaries, including CITYCOMP Service, Rhön-Montage Gruppe, and OFM Gruppe, under the Axians brand. The move aims to streamline corporate structure and broaden service offerings.

Axians Deutschland, the ICT brand of VINCI Energies, has announced the official rebranding of several of its group companies. These include CITYCOMP Service, the entire Rhön-Montage Gruppe, and OFM Gruppe, all now consolidated under the Axians banner.
The integration means these entities will operate under the Axians Corporate Identity, offering customers the full spectrum of services provided by Axians Deutschland. Existing contracts and agreements remain valid. This unified approach is intended to enhance market opportunities and synergies while preserving the individual structure of each company. Axians in Germany will support clients with its comprehensive offerings in broadband expansion, telecommunications infrastructure development, and IT & Managed Services.
With over 43,000 projects completed annually across IT, Business Applications, Telecommunications (TI), and broadband expansion, Axians has solidified its market position. The company employs over 2,700 people across 49 locations in Germany.
A significant step in this direction was VINCI Energies' 2022 acquisition of a substantial part of Kontron AG's IT service business, which included the managed services specialist Citycomp. The full integration of Citycomp into the unified Axians brand identity, rebranded as Axians IT-Infrastructure Services, is a key move to strengthen its market standing and expand its IT services, including field and maintenance services for server and storage systems.
Further rebranding affects the telecommunications infrastructure sector. Rhön-Montage Fernmeldebau is now Axians Rhön-Montage, OFM Communications becomes Axians OFM, CHB Elektro & Fernmeldebau is now Axians TI Service Factory, Fernmelde-Montage Gotha is Axians FMG, and FFK Kabel- und Rohrleitungstiefbau is Axians FFK. These changes enable Axians Deutschland to offer a comprehensive, nationwide service portfolio for broadband expansion and telecommunications infrastructure. These consolidations bolster Axians' growth and contribute to Germany's national goal of establishing nationwide fiber-based Gigabit networks by 2030.
