Aye Finance reports 144% year-on-year profit increase
Non-banking finance company Aye Finance reported a 143.5% jump in its net profit to ₹74.5 crore for the first quarter of FY27. This marks a substantial year-on-year growth.

Aye Finance, a listed non-banking financial company (NBFC), announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company posted a net profit of ₹74.5 crore, representing a 143.5% increase compared to the same period last year when profit stood at ₹30.6 crore.
Total revenue from operations rose by 17.7% to ₹477.4 crore, up from ₹405.5 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company's Assets Under Management (AUM) saw a 28% year-on-year growth, reaching ₹7,324 crore. Disbursements also increased by 22% to ₹1,219 crore, while the company added 44,736 new borrowers, a 38% rise from the previous year.
Improvements were noted in the quality of Aye Finance's loan book. Gross Non-Performing Assets (GNPA) decreased sequentially by 28 basis points to 4.49%, and Net Non-Performing Assets (NNPA) fell by 12 basis points to 1.67%. Credit costs continued their downward trend, declining to 4.01% for the quarter, marking the sixth consecutive period of improvement.
Alongside its financial results, Aye Finance's board approved a proposal to raise up to ₹4,000 crore through the issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis. This fundraising initiative, intended to be executed in tranches over the next year, is subject to shareholder approval.
