Aztec Minerals Begins Metallurgical Testing at Tombstone Gold-Silver Project

Aztec Minerals Corp. has engaged Kappes, Cassiday & Associates (KCA) to perform initial bottle-roll sodium cyanide (NaCN) leach tests on samples from the Tombstone Project's oxide gold-silver mineralization. The testing aims to enhance the company's understanding of the metallurgical characteristics of the project's various mineralization types.

This testing is part of a broader effort to evaluate the economic significance of the Tombstone Project. The company anticipates that this work, combined with an upcoming maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), will demonstrate the project's potential to become more economically significant to the local economy and the state of Arizona, said Aztec Minerals CEO Simon Dyakowski.

The Tombstone Project drilling program has completed a total of 17,927 meters across 87 holes. Since the beginning of the year, 42 RC holes and 5 core holes have been drilled. Final analytical results for multiple samples are expected within the next 60 days.

Aztec Minerals has also launched a new website, highlighting the company's focus on the Tombstone Project in Arizona and the Cervantes Project in Mexico, with the goal of expanding and de-risking associated mineral discoveries.
